I'm Mena Ayazi, a leadership and career coach for people doing mission-driven work. I spent a decade in global development and policy, learning how narrative shapes power: who gets heard, who gets believed, whose version of the story gets told.
Here's what makes my coaching different. Most coaching helps you set goals. Mine helps you rewrite the story underneath them. As a narrative strategist and Certified Co-Active Coach Practitioner, I help you dismantle the inherited stories about who you're allowed to be, and author a truer one.
I bring a deeply culturally attuned lens to this work. As a first-generation storyteller, I coach across cultures with care, especially the diaspora leaders, immigrants, and changemakers who've spent years translating themselves for everyone else. If you're navigating a transition, a bigger role, or the quiet "is this really it?", this is where you come home to your own voice.

My Services:
First Word — 6 sessions over ~3 months. For a specific tension: a decision, a transition, a role that no longer fits. Get unstuck and moving.
The Rewrite (the intensive) — 5 sessions over ~6–8 weeks. For a career pivot, or the "is this really it?" moment. Leave with your next move clear and the story that makes sense of it.
Full Voice (the signature) — 12 sessions over ~6 months.
The deep container: rebuilding your relationship with your leadership and learning to lead in your own voice.
Open Line — Single sessions, as needed. A thinking partner for past clients bringing the new thing, or a way for new clients to try coaching first.
